Single track trails near Orlando, Fl

(If your idea of mountain biking is riding a clean bike on a paved sidewalk, this is not the right place for you)

Environmental Center, in Longwood on 419 ("419")

  • About 2 to 3 miles of trails depending on the water level of lake Jessup.
  • Difficulty level: moderate. Has some user made ladders and bridges.
  • Map to trail head (Park near the soccer/baseball fields)

Little Big Econ State Forest ("Snow hill")

  • About 8 miles of trails in the shape of a deformed eight loop.
  • Difficulty level: easy dirt single track. Mostly under the tree canopy; Some sandy patches, some roots, fun trail overall.
  • Map to trail head

Spruce Creek Reserve ("Spruce Creek")

  • A 7 miles loop.
  • Difficulty level: moderate to hard: can be very sandy, relentless up and down with switch backs every 50 yards that will kill your momentum. Mostly in the shade of a tree canopy, buy the humidity is high due to the proximity of the ocean; you will sweat. Lots of roots.
  • Map to trail head

Santos Trail Head ("Santos")

  • About 60? miles of single track trails.
  • Difficulty level: moderate to hard. There is stuff for everybody there. Hard "red" trails, or easier "yellow" trails that go on for miles through a variety of nice landscapes. There is even so DH and jumping stuff in the main quarry.
